Vinod Khanna died due to advanced bladder carcinoma, here’s the official statement from hospital

Bollywood is in a state of shock as one of the most credible actors of the Hindi Film Fraternity has passed away.

Vinod Khanna, who has delivered quite a few iconic films in his career, had been hospitalised following a severe illness. And today, the reports broke out that he has breathed his last.

He was admitted in Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai and the doctors treating the actor have given out an official statement revealing the cause of his death. The official statement from the hospital says, “Veteran actor and Member of Parliament Mr. Vinod Khanna, who was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital breathed his last at 11.20 am due to advanced bladder carcinoma.”

Apparently the actor had been suffering from the cancer for quite a few years. He is survived by 4 children and a wife. He was last seen in the movie ‘Dilwale’ wherein he essayed the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s father.
