Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta and Virender Sehwag recently launched the new jersey of their team at an event held in Mumbai. They even announced the continuation of association with Tata Motors Prima for the second season.
Sehwag said, “I think the first good thing is that we have Tata Motors on board and as Preity rightly said that they joined us last year and we reached the finals so they are lucky for us so thank you for that. “We did well last year and this year we are hoping to do better than last year so hopes and expectations are there. We will discuss the plan and strategy when the team gets together in Pune after the world cup ends, but I am looking forward to this year’s IPL8.”
IPL’s Punjab team owner and actress Preity Zinta slammed a scribe for asking inappropriate questions. Zinta got upset when the journalist asked some personal questions about her former boyfriend and IPL team co-owner Ness Wadia. Preity Zinta retorted “Try and become a woman not a cool journalist.”
It may be recalled that during last IPL, Zinta had filed a police complaint against Wadia for allegedly harassing her. Indian Premiere League season eight is schedule to commence on April 8.
