Just a few days back, we learnt how Vivek Oberoi’s company Karrm Infrastructure gifted 25 homes to families of 25 CRPF martys who lost their lives in an encounter with Naxals at Sukna district in Chhattisgarh. This time, Vivek showed his humane side once more, as he gifted a house to Lalita Benbansi, an acid attack survivor who tied the knot last night.
“Lalita is a true hero because she has given a new hope to thousands of acid attack survivors to live their life like a normal human being,” he said. (Also Read: Vivek Oberoi donates 25 flats to families of martyrs)
The actor had met the brave woman during an event in March and was truly touched by her passion for life. He also came to know that she is homeless and promised to gift her a home.
Lalita, no matter whether or not her skin is burnt, possesses a heart of gold and deserves all the happiness. She tied the knot with Ravi Shankar, a man with the rare quality of loving a woman the way she is.
We wish her journey ahead remains full of sunshine! 🙂
