Bollywood’s eligible bachelor Shahid Kapoor broke the hearts of many of his fans, when news of his impending marriage to ‘Dilliwali’ fiancée hit the headlines. The ‘Haider’ actor had got secretly engaged to Delhi girl Mira Rajput, on Makar Sankranti. None was aware of this secret except Shahid’s ex Kareena Kapoor.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was well aware of Shahid Kapoor’s fiancee Mira Rajput. The Begum revealed that she had known about the girl in Shahid Kapoor’s life, much before she signed the dotted lines for ‘Udta Punjab’. She learnt this secret from a common friend. She wishes Shahid well for his married life with Mira.

Shahid had met Mira through the spiritual group Radha Soami Satsang Beas. He and his father Pankaj Kapur are ardent followers of the group. Shahid got engaged to Mira in a hush-hush ceremony in Delhi. The two will be tying the knot by the year end.
