When Katrina Kaif had predicted the failure of THIS Ranbir Kapoor-starrer

They were Bollywood’s most happening couple, who turned heads and hearts wherever they went. Unfortunately, the relationship ended and they fell apart. We are talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. But fret not! The two are back with a bang and promoting their upcoming release ‘Jagga Jasoos’ in full swing.

However, the stars, though thoroughly professional, still don’t leave a chance to take jibes at each other. There were many instances when Ranbir pulled Katrina’s leg, and not in a very nice way. Seems like Katrina was in the mood to get back to him. It happened during the trailer launch event of this film, when Katrina revealed that she knew that one of Ranbir’s earlier film is going to be a flop at the box office. Don’t be surprised! Katrina was talking about Ranbir’s film ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’.

It was during the media interaction when Ranbir was asked if they are confident about the success of the film (‘Jagga Jasoos’) after it was delayed for several times to release. To which the actor replied saying, “I cannot predict the box office success, but I know it’s a good film. After ‘Rocket Singh…’, I thought I made a ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ but then we all know that the film didn’t work. Upon hearing this, Katrina further added saying, “I knew that ‘Rocket Singh…’ would be a flop. After watching the film, I called him and said that it’s such a boring film! But in this film (‘Jagga Jasoos’) we all enjoyed the process while filming.” [sic]

”Every day when we gathered on set, we knew we are creating something new and interesting. As an actor, the outcome is not in our hand, but the process… I thoroughly enjoyed,” added the actress. [sic]

‘Jagga Jasoos’ is the third film of Ranbir and Katrina together after their earlier successful ventures ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and ‘Raajneeti’.

Directed by Anurag Basu, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is slated to hit the screens on July 14, 2017.
