Why does Ileana D’Cruz want to file a lawsuit against ‘Aankhen 2’ makers?

Recently, the makers of ‘Aankhen 2’ announced the cast of the film with much grandeur. An AV was shown at the event in which the cast of the film was introduced and it also featured Ileana D’Cruz. But, the twist in the tale is that the actress is not a part of the film! Well, turns out that she was indeed approached for the movie, but she had turned down the offer, and now, reportedly, she is planning to file a lawsuit against the makers to announce her name without her permission.

An industry insider stated, “For years now, people have stopped having lavish events to announce films. The only reason to have one is for the producer to rake in money. When a maker announces a film with a big star cast, he can impress investors to part with moolah. It’s just a money game, then whether the film gets made or not, the producer has got his hands on enough money.”

However, a filmmaker cannot announce an actress’ name if she is not a part of the film. A source said, “Gaurang showed Ileana’s video at the mahurat yesterday and claimed she was doing the film. Bachchan also confirmed it. But the fact is, she is not doing the film and the announcement has made her furious. She came to know about it only after the event when people contacted the actress to congratulate her. Now she is contemplating initiating action against Gaurang. ”

The actress’ manager stated, “Ileana is not doing the film.” Producer Gaurang Doshi was unavailable for a comment.
