Why has Katrina Kaif forgotten her South connect?

South Industry has been home to many actresses, before they ventured into Bollywood. Katrina Kaif is one of them. The actress has acted in films down South, even though only item numbers.

However, seems like Kat has apparently forgotten the favour that South industry did to her once. Katrina was offered to star opposite the South superstar, Chiranjeevi in his comeback film, but the actress readily denied the offer. And naturally, people down South were very shocked. A source from Hyderabad tells an entertainment portal, “She should have done the film with Chiranjeevi. She has several fans here. Why has she forgotten us?”

The makers now have zeroed in Kajal Aggarwal is Chiranjeevi’s heroine.

However, a source close to the actress says, “Kat hasn’t had much to chew on, recently. But there is no reason why her Bollywood diary won’t fast fill up. She is meeting many filmmakers and reading quite a few scripts. Gone are the days when she had started to soft pedal on her career, thinking that Ranbir Kapoor will marry her.”

The actress is already in talks with Karan Johar for a film, which will be directed by debutante director Aditya Dhar. Apart from that, she is also considered for Aanand L Rai’s dwarf film with Shah Rukh Khan.
