Sunny Leone, who was last seen shaking a leg with the reprised version of ‘Laila Main Laila’ in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’, has become quite choosy with her work. Unlike her early films that only concentrated on her physical assets, she now wants to do films that excite him as an actor.
In a recent conversation with India Today, Sunny opened up on her vision as a performer and about how she is on lookout for good work and not just films that pay her really fat.
“You know there are always offers but it’s about getting nice offers and great offers. And what I learnt from doing that song (‘Laila Main Laila’), if you have the right company, right people, right production house, director and actors, it can work. And for me, I want to work on great projects and it’s not about how many pages I get, I want the roles and the moments in the film that will give me something more and it’s not about the money anymore,” she said. At the same time, she is open to offers from regional film industries as well.
“I don’t think it matters if you are speaking English, Hindi, Punjabi or any south language Telugu or Tamil. I think it’s all about working on great projects. I watched ‘Baahubali’ and I cannot wait to watch the second part because I was really disappointed at the end of the first one,” she signs off.
On the professional front, she will next be seen romancing Arbaaz Khan in ‘Teraa Intezar’.
