Arjun Kapoor shared screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan in ‘Ki & Ka’ which had released earlier this year. And now, if reports are to be believed, the actor will be sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan in Nikkhil Advani’s ‘Bazaar’.
Earlier, it was reported that Nikkhil wanted to rope in Hrithik Roshan for the film, but the actor opted out of the movie. He later offered the film to Akshay Kumar, but he too couldn’t do the film.
An insider has been quoted in a leading daily as saying, “‘Bazaar’ is a two-hero film. It’s about a mentor and his protégé and the share market forms the backdrop to the story.”
It is said that Saif will be the role of the mentor and Arjun will be his protégé.
“Nikkhil is finalising things with both Saif and Arjun and they are quite aware of the pairing. If all works out well, it will be Saif mentoring Arjun in the film. Although, Arjun’s role will be slightly bigger than Saif’s, the mentor’s part will be more integral to the plot. It’s a 50-50 situation and neither of the actors have cause to complain about Saif’s screen time,” added the source.
