We all are so excited for Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Padmavati’ helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali that we don’t miss a single update on the same. The latest update about the film states that the shooting of the film will begin with a song featuring Deepika Padukone. It is apparently a folk song that will be shot first and Dippy would be doing ghoomar, a traditional dance form of Rajasthan, in it.
Reports have it that folk dancers from Rajasthan have been called to give Dippy company in this song. A source was quoted saying, “Folk dancers from Rajasthan will be flown in for the song. They will be seen alongside Deepika as well as train her. The set at Mehboob studio, where the song will be shot, is almost ready.”
After watching Deepika doing her ‘Mastani’ dance so perfectly, we are already imagining Dippy doing some beautiful ghoomar donning a fabulous ghagra-choli. She would be playing a role of Queen Padmavati in this film while Ranveer would play the role of Alauddin Khiljji.
