Yami Gautam laughs off rumours of Hrithik Roshan being upset with her

Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam wowed the audiences with their innocent performances as blind characters in the movie ‘Kaabil’, which broke many records at the box office this year. Now, as the movie is all set for it’s World Television Premiere, a promotional event was organised wherein the team of ‘Kaabil’ had to meet winners of the ‘Kaabil’ contest. While all the actors were present for the event, what made news was the fact that the lead actress Yami herself reached about an hour late for the success bash and that left Hrithik fuming. Reportedly, the team tried getting in touch with her throughout the event, but the actress was not reachable and only walked in towards the end of the event. This led to further rumours that since the actress wasn’t interested in attending the event, she walked in late leaving her co-star Hrithik upset.

But, sources close to the actress say otherwise. The source said, “The entire ‘Kaabil’ team was very happy that Yami could make it for the party even for some time. They were aware that she had left another close door brand event for a bit which was an earlier commitment to make her presence felt at the ‘Kaabil’ success party and they really appreciated that. ‘Kaabil’ is an extremely special film for her. She played the role of a visually impaired girl in the film and her performance was hugely appreciated. Yami’s pairing with Hrithik too has been loved immensely.”

Now, that should put to rest rumours of Hrithik being upset with Yami!
