Here’s how Angad Bedi broke the news of Neha Dhupia’s pre-marital pregnancy to their parents

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s marriage came as a shocker to most of us. Well, it was not just us but also their parents who were completely stunned by the news. Neha’s pregnancy news was like the cherry on top. Angad Bedi recalled how he broke the news to his parents and now in-laws. Beware it involved a major showdown and Neha’s mom having a nosebleed.

Talking about it on his wife’s radio show ‘No Filter Neha’, Angad recalled the time saying, “Considering that you (Neha) didn’t want to break the news that you were expecting, so we had to tell them that we need to get married and we love each other. I was extremely nervous because that was the judgement day, technically. To break the news to your parents, I really had cold feet as clearly it was not going to come from you (Neha). Everything had to come from me. I had to really man up and speak. I just had to blurt it out and see the reaction.”

Neha was three months pregnant when Angad approached her parents to ask for her hand in marriage and it didn’t turn out well. But he confessed that he brought up the topic only after having a warm welcome that included delicious food and beer. When he broke the news it was a major showdown after a long silence. Neha’s parents blasted the two of them, and her mother even suffered a nosebleed due to stress.

Well, all’s well that ends well. Now Neha and Angad are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood and they have an adorable daughter named Mehr.
