Boman Irani is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood. Boman has worked hard to make a mark for himself in the industry. The veteran actor’s journey is inspiring. Today, Boman Irani is celebrating his birthday. The actor has turned 63. Before joining the Hindi film industry, Boman Irani served food and drinks to the guests of the Taj Mahal palace in 1979.
During his initial days, Boman Irani worked as a waiter at the Taj hotel for 6-8 months. During his interview with CurlyTales, Boman Irani revealed that he received Rs 105 as his monthly salary. He used to save his salary and the tips. The actor recalled that he saved his salary and gifted his wife a gold chain when they got married. Not just that, he even gifted himself a camera.

After appearing in a few projects, Boman Irani went on to do a small but significant role in Darna Mana Hai. The actor gained attention for his role in the comedy film, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. His role as J Asthana won hearts. He later went on to star in films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Heyy Babyy, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, Dostana, and Kambakkht Ishq.
The actor was last seen in Uunchai with Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Kher. Uunchai also starred Parineeti Chopra, Sarika, and Neena Gupta among others. Bollywood Bubble gave Uunchai 3.5 stars.
