Watch: When Deepika Padukone called Ranveer Singh ‘a clown’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most loved couples in town and why not. They make such a lovely couple. The couple are often seen in indulging in PDA and this has been not only after their marriage, but even before tying the knot to each other. An old video has surfaced on the internet where we see Ranveer singing for his ladylove Deepika.

The video is from the show ‘Baatein With The Badshah’. Deepika was the first guest and Shah Rukh Khan was the host of the show. The show was telecast last year before their (Ranveer-Deepika) marriage. It was during the show that SRK showed her a clip of Ranveer lip-synching the song ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ from the movie ‘1942: A Love Story’. Deepika was surprised to see Ranveer singing for him and she laughed and said, “Such a clown”.

Ranveer then says in the same video, “Mandir main ho ek jalta diya. Yani ke aap. Aapke bare main kiya kahu. Jis tarike se aap kadhodon chahne walon ke zindagi main ujala ban ke aayi, mere zindagi main bhi ujala banke aayi. Main upar wale se yahi duwa karunga ki aapki bhi zindagi main bhi yahi ujala barkarar rahe humesha humesha ke liye. There is nobody like you. God bless you and love you.”

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in 2018 in the picturesque location of Lake Como, Italy. It was a hush-hush ceremony with their families and close friends.

Ranveer is currently enjoying the positive response of his recent release ‘Gully Boy’, while Deepika will soon begin shooting for her upcoming film ‘Chhapaak’.
