Kriti’s last theatrical release ‘Luka Chuppi’ alongside Kartik Aaryan has done quite well at the box-office. ‘Luka Chuppi’ revolves around Guddu Shukla (Kartik Aaryan) and Rashmi Tiwari (Kriti Sanon) who decide to explore a live-in relationship. The romantic comedy garnered over Rs 92.05 crore at the domestic box office by the end of its fifth weekend.

The ‘Heropanti’ actress has also been quite vocal regarding the pay disparity among male and female actors. Kriti Sanon shared her views and said, “This business of overlooking the leading lady has been going on for a while and it’s so unfair. I am glad this conversation is finally happening. It’s logical to talk about only the male protagonist when the leading lady doesn’t have a lot to do, but when they are both carrying a film on their shoulders, the credit should be equally shared. Everybody deserves a mention.”

The diva will also be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Housefull 4’. And Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama ‘Panipat’ in the near future.
