For the Hindu Arya Samaj wedding, the actor was required to change his name in order to marry his childhood sweetheart Gauri. Surprisingly, the actor changed his name to Jeetender Kumar Tulli. Yes, you read that right! But, there’s a reason why the actor chose to go with this name. The name Jeetender Kumar Tulli stood as a tribute to veteran actors Jeetendra and Rajendra Kumar. The actual surname of Rajendra Kumar was Tulli. Not just this, the actors’ grandmother used to think that SRK resembled quite a lot like the star Jeetendra.

Well, the news does not end here! For the nikah, Gauri also had to change her name. She had changed her name to Ayesha for the marriage ceremony. Now, the two share a happy married life and have three kids together, Aaryan, Suhana and AbRam Khan.

Though the movie is yet to be titled, it will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment along with Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Entertainment.
