When Anushka Sharma spoke about ‘quitting acting and having babies’ after getting married

Anushka Sharma is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood. She keeps grabbing attention because of her personal, as well as professional life. Speaking of personal, Anushka married cricketer Virat Kohli in December 2017. In 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika. As per reports, Anushka is pregnant and expecting her second baby.

Amid this, a throwback video from Anushka’s interview with Simi Garewal has surfaced online. In the video, Anushka talks about ‘quitting acting and having babies’ after getting married.

When Simi Garewal asked her if marriage is important to her, she said, “Marriage is very important to me. I want to be married and have kids and when I am married, I probably do not want to be working.”

In the same interview, Anushka Sharma also revealed that small things matter to her. When asked if she is romantic, Anushka had said, “No. What is a romantic? What do you like if you are romantic? For me, very small things matter. For me, if a guy is like, caring towards me, and he does it in a way that it comes out naturally for him, for me that is being romantic. He could, for example, if I am sick, pass me a medicine, or say, ‘You should have this’, without making a big deal, for me, that is more than enough.”

Anushka is now happily married to Virat Kohli. And she’s a doting mother to her daughter Vamika. The actress often shares photos with Virat and their daughter on Instagram. Speaking of her second pregnancy, Anushka is yet to react to the same. The news comes days after Anushka was spotted at a maternity clinic. The actress reportedly requested paps not to post her photos.

On the work front, Anushka will be seen in Prosit Roy’s Chakda Xpress.
