When Brahmastra actor Nagarjuna’s wife Amala responded to rumours of him dating Tabu

Brahmastra actor Nagarjuna is one of the finest and most popular actors in town. The superstar has been the reigning ‘King’ of Tollywood and enjoys a humongous fan following. The actor tied the knot with his Siva co-star actress Amala in 1992. They soon went on to be addressed as the Golden Couple of Tollywood. The actor was once again in the limelight when rumours of his affair with actress Tabu hit headlines time and again.

Finally, Nagarjuna’s wife Amala decided to address the situation and opened up about her husband’s rumoured affair with Tabu. Amala called Tabu her best friend and says that nothing can shake her faith in her husband.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Amala Akinneni said, “When there are serious issues like the blasts and the flood affecting Mumbai, are people actually wondering about what’s Amala’s best friend doing in her home? It’s really saddening. Nobody should bother about what happens under my roof. I am happy.”

She further made it clear that she was not only worried about Tabu’s well-being but also feared that such gossip would hurt her. She said that Tabu is one of the persons besides Danny Denzongpa, who is Amala’s rakhi brother from Mumbai, she is in touch with. Amala added that whenever Tabu comes to the South, she stays with them.

Recently Karan Johar had also asked Tabu about Nagarjuna on Koffee with Karan, to which the actress had agreed that it is only a rumour. Tabu also called Nagarjuna one of the closest people in her life. Both Tabu and Nagarjuna have shared screen space in movies like Avida Maa Aavide, Ninne Pelladata and Sisindri and more.
