Hrithik Roshan the superstar with Greek God looks has a humongous fan following on social media. The actor who won hearts with his debut film Koi Mil Gaya went on to be a part of many blockbbusters. One of them being Krrish our very own Indian superhero. Fans soon started comparing the movie with Hollywood’s X-Men. In fact in a throwback inteview the Super 30 actor had said that Hollywood should learn from Krrish 3.
Hrithik Roshan said Hollywood should learn from Krrish 3
In an old interview with DNA, the dashing star had opened up on the comparison between Bollywood and Hollywood. Also how Hollywood can learn something from Bollywood after watching Krrish.
The superstar said, “Ab chalo theek hai(Ok its fine), now when we have taken the decision to make it, how do we make it? Where are the budgets? How do we create a superhero for India without being able to shoot in India. As in outdoors mai agar aap…apne socha(If you have thought about shooting) action sequence in India gate, how do you manage? How can you show in outdoors a superhero saving India without being in India, jab ki aapke(As your) budgets don’t allow you to recreate the entire set.”
He further added, “Hollywood films, in contrast to them. Apni jo budget hai(The budget for) our film that’s about 2 percent or you can say the entire budget is equivalent to one sequence in Spiderman. Jitna paisa ek sequence mai kharch hota hai, utne mai hume puri film banani hai(What they spend on one sequence we make an entire movie in that budget). The biggest challenge is that people should not be able to make the difference out of it. I think after watching Krrish, Hollywood will take a turn and say they just made it in 2 percent, what the f*ck is going on?”
