When Prabhas revealed why he called his loved ones DARLING

Pan India star Prabhas has a huge fan following across the globe. The actor who is often seen in an action avatar onscreen is quite different in real life. The down to earth actor in real life is a shy and affable person. If you are a big fan of the Baahubali star then you must be aware that he refers to his fans and loved ones with his catchphrase ‘Darling’.

In an old interview, the actor had once opened up on the reason why he calls his loved ones Darling and where it all started from.

In the interview, Prabhas spoke about the word Darling and the story behind it. On being asked why he calls everyone Darling. The Saaho star said that he likes calling his loved ones with a special name and that Darling came into use.

But even Prabhas says he does not know how that word stuck to him. But he added that it was during the making of Bujjugadu with director Puri Jagannadh. The actor said that he loved Puri so much that he used to call him darling.

Now, he uses it to address all his near and dear including his fans. Puri picked it from Prabhas and used it in his film. Now, in every film of his, Prabhas uses the name darling at least once.

On the work front, Prabhas is waiting for the release of Radhe Shyam co-starring Pooja Hegde. He also has Adipurush with Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ProjectK with Deepika Padukone and Salaar with Shruti Haasan in his kitty.
