When Salman Khan gifted THIS expensive thing of his to Sidharth Malhotra for his Ek Villain performance

Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh starrer Ek Villain is celebrating 8 years of its release. The Mohit Suri directorial was much loved by fans and critics alike. The movie went on to be a blockbuster hit and the actors too won appreciation galore for their performance. Not many know that superstar Salman Khan was so impressed with Sidharth Malhotra’s performance that he gifted him his expensive watch as a mark of appreciation.

It so happened that Sidharth Malhotra had hosted a party at his home to celebrate the success of  ‘Ek Villain’. The Dabangg Khan had also arrived with his ‘Kick’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez. Impressed with Sidharth’s acting in the film, Salman gifted him a designer watch on the occasion, as a token of appreciation.

Sidharth Malhotra said that he was elated that Salman Khan had attended the Ek Villain success bash that was hosted at his home.

Speaking to the media personnel Sidharth had said, “He called me up and congratulated me for the good opening (of Ek Villain) and my performance. I had invited him and he first said he can’t come. But, he came and I think it was sweet of him. A person of his stature doesn’t need to do this and I think he has a great heart. He also got a watch, it was a sweet gesture.”

A new instalment of Ek Villain is being made by Mohit Suri and it features Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
