In an interview Abhishek was cited saying “I personally don’t believe that any revenue is good revenue. There has to be an endorser-brand fit that raises the product’s equity. I need to personally believe in the brand before taking it up. I wouldn’t endorse a product I don’t use.”

Amitabh Bachchan was once the famous brand ambassador for Cola for a period of 8 years. Although, when Big B was asked a genuine question by a small school that why did he endorse such a brand which is also known as slow poison. Since then Amitabh Bachchan has always given double thought before signing an endorsement deal.

Anushka Sharma is a brand ambassador of the leading shampoo brand Pantene and is happy to be associated with the hair care product owned by FMCG major Procter & Gamble. Anushka Sharma in an interview stated in an interview “I would not endorse products that propagate racist and sexiest (beliefs)….and propagate social taboo. I don’t want to endorse products that propagate fair skin and all. I will not propagate anything that says this is right or wrong,”.

Fans try to copy their favorite celebrities style, accent, hairstyle and also at times blindly support their the brands which the celebrity is endorsing.
