All thanks to the director's vision to shoot the film in such a way that the movie could efficient juggle between the two eras. The Cinematography of the film was a sure shot highly and one of the key elements for it's success.

It wouldn't be wrong if we say that Aamir Khan's performance in 'Rang De Basanti' was one of the best till date. No doubt that the other stars played their part really well but, it was only Aamir who took away all the limelight. If it wouldn't have been Aamir playing the role of 'DJ' in the film, the film wouldn't have been such a great hit. Aamir brought his character to life and so did the film. 'Rang De Basanti' is must watch for Aamir Khan.
