Chennai Floods

The devastating Chennai Floods has taken a great toll in the State of Tamil Nadu, with more than 300 people losing their lives and many more having lost their homes. The after effects of the floods are causing a havoc with lack of food and shelter for the victims. Many Bollywood stars came forward to help people and donated huge amounts to the fund. Rajinikanth donated 10 crores to Chief Minister Public Relief Fund, whereas Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar donated Rs. 1 Crore. Other Bollywood celebrities too expressed solidarity with the affected with messages on social media.

Salman Khan’s little sister Arpita Khan is the darling of her brothers eyes and had a fairy tale wedding with her beau Aayush Sharma on 18th November. A few months back, Deepika Padukone revealed that she too had suffered from depression and it “was a struggle to wake up”. Deepika said, “I thought it was stress, so I tried to distract myself by focusing on work, and surrounding myself with people, which helped for a while. But the nagging feeling didn’t go away. My breath was shallow, I suffered from lack of concentration and I broke down often.”
