We saw the ‘actor’ Salman Khan
We are not saying that Salman was a bad actor before ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, but the filmmakers concentrated more on his star power than his acting skills in their films. But, in ‘BB’ that was not the case; we got to see the ‘actor’ Salman Khan and not the ‘star’ Salman Khan.
No item songs / No lame lyrics
While there were songs in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, none of them had an item song flavour nor did it have lame lyrics.
Salman Khan was being beaten up
Can you imagine a film in which Salman is being beaten up by the villains? Well, in Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ towards the climax we saw a sequence where Salman was the one who was being hit.
A very subtle narration
We have always seen that Salman Khan movies have larger-than-life set ups. But, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was different. It was a high budget movie; however there was simplicity in it. We feel for that Kabir Khan deserves an applaud.
Cross-border relationship
Salman Khan might have been a part of many message oriented films, but then he never did a movie about the cross-border relationship. The movie was so effective that there were actually a few true incidents, inspired by the film which took place after it released.
The day ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was announced, we all thought that it would just be another massy Salman Khan movie. But, we were proved wrong when we saw the film. The Kabir Khan directorial had released on July 17th, 2015 and completes a year of its release today.
