Finding a replacement for Ranveer is tough! The director Sanjay Leela Bhansali will surely have a tough time finding a replacement for Ranveer Singh. First of all it’s difficult to find an actor who is as quirky and energetic as him and secondly, it seems difficult to convince any actor to step into his shoes as there would be a direct comparison between the two actors. Ranveer has proved his worth with his performance in 'Bajirao Mastani', so it would be tough to get someone who can be at par with the Bajirao.

No firework moments between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone! Ranveer Singh's alleged real-life ladylove, Deepika Padukone is set to play the role of queen ‘Padmavati’ in this film. We saw them together in ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ramleela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and their chemistry was like fire. Even though in this film, Ranveer and Deepika may not share the screen space at all, but the fact that Ranveer will be fighting for his real-life love is more than enough to give anyone jitters. It could lead to a little disappointment for the audience, if someone else portrays his love for Deepika.

Going by the recent reports, Ranveer Singh is apparently not a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. Even before the film goes on floors, it has gained mileage because of these speculations. Reports suggest that the director is miffed with Ranveer as he asked for a narration from him. SLB feels that Ranveer is successful because of him. Mr Bhansali has directed Ranveer in ‘Ramleela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ which turned out to be the biggest hits of his career. So, when Ranveer asked for a narration and did not believe in his vision, he was apparently miffed.
