Ghajini
Ghajini is a 2008 Indian psychological thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena. The soundtrack and score is by A. R. Rahman. It is a remake of Murugadoss's own 2005 Tamil film of the same name starring Surya Sivakumar in the lead role along with Asin and it became the highest grossing movie of that year and the first Hindi film to cross the ₹100 crore mark. It stars Aamir Khan, Asin and Jiah Khan in lead roles while Pradeep Rawat and Riyaz Khan essay supporting roles. The film was adapted from Christopher Nolan's Memento.
Saathiya
Saathiya is a 2002 Indian Hindi romantic drama film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Mani Ratnam and Yash Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film stars Rani Mukerji opposite Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. The soundtrack was composed by A. R. Rahman. It is a remake of the Tamil film, Alaipayuthey directed by Mani Ratnam which also had its music by A. R. Rahman. The film was released on 20 December 2002. It features cameo appearances by Shahrukh Khan, Tabu and Aditya Srivastava. Box Office India declared the film as a "semi hit" in India.

Rowdy Rathore is a 2012 Indian action masala film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Rajat Rawail, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. It is a remake of the Telugu film, Vikramarkudu. The film features Akshay Kumar in double roles opposite Sonakshi Sinha and Paresh Ganatra, Yashpal Sharma, Gurdeep Kohli in supporting role with Tamil actor Nassar as antagonist.The music was composed by Sajid-Wajid and lyrics are penned by Faaiz Anwar and Sameer Anjaan. It marks the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre after seven years.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a 2007 Indian psychological comedy horror film directed by Priyadarshan. It constitutes the official remake of the 1993 Malayalam film, Manichitrathazhu, starring Mohanlal. which was already remade into several Indian films. Bhool Bhulaiyaa features Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Ameesha Patel and Shiney Ahuja in pivotal roles with Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav in supporting roles. The music of the film was composed by Pritam and the lyrics were written by Sameer. It was a critical and commercial success.

Jai Ho is a 2014 Indian action drama film directed by Sohail Khan and produced by Khan along with Sunil Lulla. The film stars Salman Khan, Tabu and Sunil Shetty alongside Danny Denzongpa as the antagonist. It features cameo appearances by Sunil Shetty and Genelia D'Souza. The film is an official remake of the 2006 Telugu film Stalin directed by A. R. Murugadoss, with the plot of the film being inspired from Pay it Forward.
