Sadashiv Amrapurkar

Sadashiv Amrapurkar has acted in more than 300 movies and mostly he played a role of villians. In 1991 movie Sadak, he appeared as Maharani the 'eunuch' brothel madam for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role.

Bobby Darling

Bobby Darling played a role of transgender in the comedy film Kyaa Kool Hai Hum. In the movie, Riteish Deshmukh who appeared as Karan is about to wed Kiran (Bobby Darling) at the temple, not knowing that she is a transvestite.

Mahesh Manjrekar

Rajjo is a romantic musical movie starring Kangana Ranaut and newcomer Paras Arora in the lead roles and its supporting cast includes Prakash Raj, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jaya Prada. Mahesh Manjrekar played the role of an eunuch very bravely. Mahesh also revealed that after playing the role of transgender, his perception towards women changed.

Ashutosh Rana

Ashutosh Rana was outstanding in the title role. Shabnam Mausi movie is based on a real life character, Shabnam Mausi was the first transgender Indian or Hijra to be elected to public office. Though the film is based on a real-life character's struggle to enter politics, the wheeling-dealings of politics are exaggerated and crudely portrayed. Ashutosh Rana again proved his brilliance as an actor.

Arif Zakariya

Darmiyaan is a film starring Arif Zakaria, Tabu, and Kiron Kher. The film is set in Bollywood of the 1940's and tells the story of an actress who discovers that her son is a eunuch. Arif Zakariya played the role of an eunuch in the film.

Paresh Rawal

Paresh Rawal was critically praised for his role as a eunuch in the movie Tamanna. This is the story of Tikku (Paresh Rawal), a eunuch, the only child of yesteryear Bollywood actress Nazneen Begum. Paresh Rawal also said "My intention was to disabuse the impression that eunuchs are not caricatures. I wanted to give them a human face and dignity."

Nirmal Pandey

Daayraa is a 1996 Bollywood movie, directed by Amol Palekar, starring Nirmal Pandey and Sonali Kulkarni. Nirmal Pandey played a role of transgender for which he won a Best Actor Valenti award in France.

Rakhi Sawant

Masti is a 2004 Bollywood comedy and mystery film directed by Indra Kumar, and starring Ajay Devgan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Amrita Rao, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Tara Sharma and Genelia D'Souza.
