‘Bombay Velvet’
Starring actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar with high profile director like Anurag Kashyap. Critics gave a good review, but Audience rejected this movie completely. It is believed that total budget of this movie was 125 crore and film lost around 100 Crore.
‘Hero’
Salman Khan's first production movie 'Hero' showing debutante Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi faced a downfall. Although, the only tow things that got attention was Salman Khan and the song 'Main Hoon Hero' sung by him.
‘Katti Batti’
Kangana Ranaut was riding high with her success of 'Queen' and then came her disastrous movie 'Katti Batti' which not only fell miserably at the box office but also her little appearance in the film was highly criticized.Even her chemistry with Imran Khan did not succeed to impress us.
‘Phantom’
The whole movie surrounded the 26/11 attacks and Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif worked really hard for the characters to get justice with the whole story. However, the movie faced a lot of political disputes and did not do well at the box office.
‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’
The makers of the movie totally nailed the marketing strategy.The movie was so hyped with the story line and the songs, but it was a complete disaster and failed at the box office.
‘Roy’
The movie starts and ends with a confusion for all. The whole time it was a big question for the audiences to figure out what exactly was happening on screen. The movie failed miserably at the box office.
‘Shaandar’
Shahid Kapoor and Aliaa Bhatt had given us all the right strings for hope on for Shaandar to be a superhit movie. However, the songs were quite good but the movie went down the lane. Even Shahid and Aliaa decided to stay away from the movie after its downfall.
‘Singh Is Bling’
After the super hit movie 'Singh Is King' was released in 2008, the bar was raised for the second edition 'Sing Is Bling'. The movie failed to impress the audience, the movie songs had no logic at all. Even Akshay Kumar's stunts couldn't help the movie to do well.
‘Welcome Back’
After its first part 'Welcome' which was released in 2007 the expectations for the movie ' Welcome Back' was quite high. The laughing riot from the first and second was a complete disappointment.
The year 2015 is about to end and Bollywood has been quite entertaining this season with Blockbuster movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Badlapur, Tanu Weds Manu Returns to name a few. However, there were movies on the block with hyped publicity giving out hopes for a super fantastic outcome but they turned out to be super disappointing.
