Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ was a realistic film to throw light on the darker sides of the glamour industry. Before Madhur approached Kareena for the lead, it reportedly went to Aishwarya. At that time, Ash was pregnant with her daughter, but she so wanted to work in the film that she hid it from Madhur. Anyhow, the truth found its way and she was replaced with Kareena. Post this, her relationship with Madhur was never the same again. We so wish she didn’t do this.
