Prabhas starrer Saaho was first offered to Alia Bhatt initially. But reports say Alia turned down the role as she felt the female's role was overshadowed by the male lead. Later the role went to Shraddha Kapoor.

Thugs of Hindostan

Reportedly, Alia was also offered the Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer. But it is said that Alia felt the female leads did not add any importance to the plot line of the film. Later Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh were casted in the movie.

Golmaal Again

Director Rohit Shetty had first offered the role of Khushi to Alia Bhatt. But the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress turned down the movie as she was busy with other projects. Later the role was offered to Parineeti Chopra.

Raabta

Before Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt was offered the role opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie Raabta. But it is said that the actress turned down the role because she was busy with other projects.

Neerja

Neerja was one of the best movies by Sonam Kapoor and she was applauded widely for her role. However, the role was initially offered to Alia Bhatt but looks like the makers were not convinced by the actress' height as per reports and later casted Sonam.
