‘The Road Trip’
The latest from her kitty was 'Love Shots', a short films produced by Y films., the youth division of Yash Raj films. A husband and a wife leave for a road trip and a tale of self-discovery unfolds. Nimrat nailed it in this one too!
‘Airlift’
Raja Krishna Menon's 'Airlift' (2015) was Akshay Kumar's third patriotic film in a row, after 'Baby' & 'Holiday'. The film was based upon the historical event on Kuwait Evacuation on the backdrop of Gulf War. This was a major shift of genre for Nimrat, who played Akshay Kumar's on-screen wife in the film. But she executed it beautifully.
‘The Lunch Box’
'The Lunchbox' was a breakthrough in Nimrat's career. She played a house wife who craves for her husband's attention and thus cooks delicious food; and nailed it. Written & directed by Ritesh Batra, this film was a huge critical success along with Nimrat being applauded for her performance.
‘Peddlers’
This 2012 Hindi crime thriller was directed by Vasan Bala. Anurag Kashyap and Guneet Monga, the two front-rowers who have put in their best efforts to support Independent cinema in India, produced the film. Apart from Nimrat Kaur, it also features Nishikant Kamat, Gulshan Devaia, Kriti Malhotra & Siddharth Menon. Nimrat attended the 2012 Cannes Film Festival for this film.
Of all the relatively new faces that have entered Bollywood, Nimrat Kaur is a prominent name. The gorgeous lady was properly introduced to us with Ritesh Batra’s ‘The Lunchbox’. However, if you carefully remember, we have earlier caught glimpses of her in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Yahaan’, few music videos of Kumar Shanu & Shreya Ghoshal. Also, remember the 2015 American TV series ‘Homeland’? She grabbed a role there too!

Nimrat was recently seen in Raja Krishna Menon’s successful venture ‘Airlift’ & in ‘A Road Trip’, one of the short films of Y film’s ‘Love  Shots’ colection.
The beautiful lady celebrates her 34th birthday today. On this occasion, have a look at four such instances where she strongly proved presence.
Happy birthday Nimrat!
