Hero (1983)

Subhash Ghai's directorial Hero marked as Jackie Shroff's debut in the film industry. Jackie as Jaikishan did a fantastic job in the film, his bad boy image which turned into a lover boy and then tried to reform himself into a better man. The movie had a remake in 2015 featuring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty marking their debut in Bollywood. However the movie tanked but the original version was a hit amongst all Bollywood buffs.

Karma (1986)

Subhash Ghai's directorial Karma was one of the superhit movies at that time. Jackie Shroff as Baiju Thakur worked really well in the film and played the role of a prisoner perfectly.

Khalnayak (1993)

Subhash Ghai's directorial Khalnayak became a raging hit, back in the 90s. Here again, Jackie Shroff pulled off an Inspector role brilliantly.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's directorial Parinda is considered by many to be the turning point in reality in Hindi cinema, as the theme of the film discusses the real life of Indian underworld gangsters and the general life of residents in the city of Mumbai. Jackie Shroff has teamed up again with Anil Kapoor for this movie and the performance delivered by him was mind-blowingly awesome.
