Thus the very thought of smoking was enough to make her tense, finally she smoked nicotine free cigarettes for the part and decided never to do it again no matter what.

The actress, popular for her role in the movie ‘Gangster’ and has been seen smoking heavily in the movie ‘Fashion’ and has equally been seen smoking in real life too. Kangana Ranaut is famous for her depressed, pipe smoking roles in the cine world. In films like Fashion, Tanu Weds Manu and Gangster, she’s played the troubled female protagonist. But very few know that the actress is a chain smoker in real life too. Kangana even stood up openly against the ban on smoking. She also went on record to say smoking is a personal choice and should never be banned.

The 33-year-old actor is a non smoker in real life although in her film Dirty Picture she was seen smoking cigarettes multiple times.The actress while shooting for the film in Hyderabad had to enact a scene in which she had to actually smoke. Since Vidya had never smoked before, she began to feel uneasy after her fourth cigarette and started coughing. This delayed the shoot of the film for a a while, when Vidya was feeling go to go the Director gave a green signal and shooting started. As luck would have it, and after multiple re-takes, Vidya was ten cigarettes down.
