Asin
Asin doesn't approve kissing on-screen. She has given a number of successful films but never indulged in it.
Fawad Khan
Fawad Khan was recently in the news for possibilities of turning down 'Battle of Bittora' opposite Sonam Kapoor. He said he was not comfortable performing intimate scenes. He also said that the audience in his country (Pakistan) is not yet comfortable enough to be exposed to such a content. Even otherwise, we never saw Fawad kissing on-screen in either of his Bollywood endeavours ('Khoobsurat' & 'Kapoor & Sons').
Sidharth Malhotra
Sidharth Malhotra has no inhibitions regarding kissing. However, he does admit that it all gets mechanical. " Kissing (on screen) might look enjoyable, but it’s like mathematics or an algebra equation. You are constantly adjusting your kiss for the camera, with things like whose nose will come where, which angle is good to capture it, or whose hand goes where.", he said.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha is another woman who never kisses on-screen. We never heard her expressing her dislike for it. But her actions say that she is another actor who does not approve it.
Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput is one of the most promising actors among the gen Y. Sushant is pretty cool with kissing on-screen. When asked about the same he was once quoted saying, "is everyone so stressed about it? It’s just an innocent way to express a thousand feelings without verbalizing it. Just let it be.".
Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor feels kissing on-screen is no big deal but at the same time wants to do it only when her character demands for it. "I wonder why a kiss is such a big deal in today’s day and age? Audiences don’t make a fuss about a kiss. By now, they’re used to it. As for doing kissing scenes, I am quite conservative at heart. I will do them only when necessary.", Shraddha stated during an interview with IANS.
Saif Ali Khan
Firstpost published a report where the Nawab of Bollywood expressed his dislike towards kissing on-screen. Saif believes that in Indian films, kisses are often not required and when done, they are not executed properly. He further went on to say that it doesn't fit us and displaying affection publicly is not something that is as per our culture.
Emran Hashmi
Emraan Hashmi says he is absolutely tired of kissing on-screen. All his films have one or more intimate sequences and he has earned the ‘serial kisser’ name. But kissing in a film is not really as great as it looks. However, Emraan and his kissing acts are almost inseparable now.
Salman Khan
Kissing on-screen is a big NO for Salman Khan. He has spent decades in Bollywood, has given us numerous blockbusters and has worked with almost every lady in tinsel town. Even though he has set his own legacy, he never kissed any of his leading ladies and doesn’t find it right.
Physical intimacy or cozy sequences are nothing new in films. Sometimes, the script demands it and sometimes, the makers go a few steps ahead in order to make the film sensually attractive. Whatever the reason be, the audience is growing more used to such content every single day. Now, the actors participating in it also have a say, at times. Some of them are okay with performing kissing sequences, some are not.
