Boney, Janhvi & Khushi arrive in Delhi to receive Sridevi’s National Award

Actress Sridevi passed away on February 24th, 2018, leaving her name forever to be on lips of each and every person. The late actress was awarded by the National Film Awards for Best Actress. The family members, Boney Kapoor and daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor are at the moment present in Delhi to accept the award on her behalf.

The announcement by Shekhar Kapur brought a few words in front of the media saying, "It was not because of the relationship we shared, but because Sridevi was the most deserving candidate for her portrayal in MOM."

When it came to words of gratitude, Boney expressed himself wishing his wife [Sridevi] was present on stage. Furthermore, the family was happy to know that the jury voted for her as Best Actress, who deserved this award. Sridevi has done 300 films and all of them were hit.

Being the first National Award, the family has regarded it to be Sridevi's biggest achievement and that her family is proud of her hardwork, dedication and roles played in life. It was a special moment for both the daughters. They said, "Sridevi wasn't just a super actor but also, a super wife and a super mom." And that her legacy would always live on through them.
