Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming biopic ‘Soorma’. The movie is based on former captain of Indian Hockey Team Sandeep Singh.
‘Soorma’is being directed by Shaad Ali and tells the story of Sandeep, a professional hockey player and former captain of the Indian national team.
The legendary player recently accompanied Diljit for the promotions, and the two even posed for the cameras.
Sandeep Singh was injured after being hit by an accidental gunshot in a train in 2006 but he did not give up, recovered and created a world record in the world of hockey.

Diljit looked smart in a blue shirt and pants with a cream turban.
He revealed that he and Taapsee were trained by Sandeep Singh to depict the role of a hockey player.

‘Soorma’ also stars Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi as Sandeep’s elder brother. It is slated to release on July 13.
