Cooking for the Rajaji Rangers
The actress paid tribute to the hardworking forest rangers by preparing an exquisite meal. She enjoyed cooking an authentic Uttarakhand delicacy which was well appreciated by the Rajaji rangers “Yeh jo forest rangers hai, yeh humare future ko protect karte hai, yeh meri tribute hai, to these brave selfless guardians” is what she said when quipped about her cooking for rangers.
Trying her hand at reading Braille
The journey brought Dia to the Central Braille Press, one of the first institutes in India that provides educational services to blind individuals by the use of a Braille script. A fun interactive session that truly brought a smile to their innocent faces.
Riding with Enfield Bikers
The actress’s adventurous streak continued as she rode with Enfield bikers. This was a one of a kind experience for Dia as she soaked in the tranquil beauty while riding through the mountainous terrain from Dehradun to Mussorie “You’re setting an example of coolness and you’re redefining coolness”, she quipped to the bikers.
Dia meets the Mountain Man
The actress had the good fortune of meeting fellow green activist and founder of HESCO (Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organization) Anil Prakash Joshi also popularly known as the Mountain Man. It was a surreal experience as she engaged in a heart to heart conversation with him on how Ganga is our past, present and future!
