Did you know? Aditi Rao Hydari has a small role in the film too. She will be playing the young Tabbu there.

Rekha was first supposed to play Tabbu's character. However, later she walked away for reasons unknown and was replaced by Tabbu.

A large portion of the film was shot in Kashmir, with Rekha's presence. However, later Rekha walked out of the film and Tabbu joined. This resulted in another process of shooting. The team had great difficulty in managing the re-shoot. It added a huge chunk to the film's overall budget which was already over the approximate calculation. Moreover, obtaining a permission to film in Kashmir is not an easy task at all; Abhishek Kapoor had to go through the process twice!

Cutie pie Harshaali Malhotra was approached to play the young munni (Katrina Kaif) in 'Fitoor'. However, her mother didn't want her daughter to play such a character and turned the offer down.
