Aamir Khan's wife, Kiran Rao lodged a complaint against the Cyber Crime Cell just yesterday, after an unidentified person created her fake Facebook account and has been impersonating her on social media.

Poonam Pandey

Poonam Pandey, who has always been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons, too fell prey to hacking. Apparently, a group of Pakistanis had hacked into her account and she had to resort to the cyber cell department to file a complaint.

Amitabh Bachchan

Cinematic icon Amitabh Bachchan's twitter account was hacked and he had approached the police to solve the mystery over “dirty abusive sms” that he had been receiving for a year.

Shahid Kapoor

Just last year in September, actor Shahid Kapoor's Facebook account was hacked but within an hour, he put on another tweet informing his fans that his FB account has been restored.

Irrfan Khan

Actor Irrfan Khan's Facebook account was hacked last year. Although, after noticing irregular random posts on Irrfan’s Facebook page, his team immediately restored the settings before any damage was caused by the hacker.

Ali Zafar

The good-looking Pakistani actor Ali Zafar found his Twitter account hacked by an anonymous person who even promoted himself through Ali’s account. He tweeted, “I am @nikunjbhuwalka! And follow me please I am cool @nikunjbhuwalka.”

Shruti Haasan

Actress Shruti Haasan, a famous name in Tollywood, fell prey to hacking twice. Her Twitter account was hacked for a second time and after getting it restored, she tweeted to her fans to ignore the weird tweets and requests as her account had been hacked for some time.

It’s not easy being a public figure. The excessive baggage of being a known personality invites the wrath of unknown people invading your privacy. Yes, we are talking about hackers and impersonators who make their way into the social media accounts of famous celebrities and create havoc.

So here we have prepared a list of all those Bollywood celebrities who have been a part of the hack attack on social media and faced lot of embarrassment at the hands of the impersonator. Although, the accounts were later restored.
