Any girl in form looks beautiful. She was once quoted saying, "My weight has never been an issue in my life. I don't think it is a big thing. I'm comfortable with the way I look. Even when I was almost 90 kgs, I thought I looked beautiful. I feel if you think you are beautiful, it will show on your face. It is the state of mind. I'd say it is good to be healthy." This was all about weight loss. Let's put some highlight on her body-toning regime. Bhumi is an over enthusiastic lady. She once confessed that even when she was healthy, she was not a lazy human being. She was active enough to do everything that she likes including going to the gym and playing various sports. Talking about her workout session, according to the reports, Bhumi's starts her day with a morning walk. Sometimes this walk is replaced by a sprint. Later in the afternoon, she hits the gym wherein she does cardio for the initial 15 minutes followed by weight training sessions. Apart from this, she also involves herself in ports like badminton, volleyball and swimming.

You would be surprised to know that Bhumi lost almost 25 kgs by just bringing about a change in the food she consumed. Her breakfast then comprised of juice or eggs along with smal portions of upma or poha. Her lunch consists of Sabzi Roti, Chicken Chawal or just Dal Chawal. Apart from this, she gulps down a lot of aloe vera juice to keep her skin glowing. She has strictly instructed the cooks to fry all the stuff in Olive Oil which would, in turn, help her cut down on calories. It is unbelievable to know that Bhumi has actually lost weight following this simple diet regime.

Post the film's release, the actual task of losing weight began. It was not just about losing that extra 15 kgs that she gained for the film but, she was now on a mission to get fit with a perfectly toned body. The first step to achieve this mission was to put an end to the unhealthy lifestyle that she opted for by eating anything and everything she loved. She cut the intake of junk food completely which once used to be only food she consumed. No butter chicken, no junk food and no cheese was her initial diet plan.

Surprisingly, in one of the interviews, she revealed that she was never skinny. She was healthy and weighed 72 kilos when she signed up for the film. So, she was then asked to put on 15 kilos. Butter Chicken and junk food for breakfast, lunch and dinner helped her gain weight. Thankfully, she is a foodie. Therefore, she absolutely loved indulging herself in the task that she absolutely loves, eating!
