Former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was body-shamed after she gave birth to her daughter Aaradhay in 2011. She was trolled for her post-pregnancy weight gain. In 2012 when she made her Cannes red carpet appearance she was trolled online for the weight gain. Later, in an interview with CNN News18 she told, "People think that if you look a certain way, you won’t be be judged. But, believe me, irrespective of how you look, everybody faces judgement for something or the other.” The actress has always been positive about her body and never let anyone dictate her.
Deepika Padukone
Pathaan actress Deepika Padukone was thin shamed several times for her body whenever she posted pictures online.
Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor has also faced body-shaming and online trolls. It was at Arbaaz Khan's talk show, the actress revealed that she faced body shaming when she gained weight. She also said that it's negative when someone targets her family.
Mrunal Thakur
Jersey actress Mrunal Thakur had earlier faced a severe backlash when she posted a video of her intense workout regime. But she didn't let trolls affect her. She recently told Times Now in an interview, “If I cut down — I start losing weight from my face, then my upper body and then it would reach my lower body – I will still have that shape. So rather than people calling me matka and me feeling bad, I take a lot of pride in it.”

Actress Kajal Aggarwal was also at the receiving end for her weight gain during pregnancy. She took to Instagram to slam the trolls for commenting on her body and targetting women during pregnancy.

Actress Ileana D'cruz has also been victim of trolls for her body. Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she said, "I remember those days like it was yesterday. It’s weird because it’s a very deeply ingrained scar. I went through body-shaming right from the time I was 12. I had just hit puberty and growing up. You are hit with these weird comments.” She has always maintained a positive attitude though it took a lot of inner strength to convince herself.
Neha Dhupia
Post giving birth to her first child, Neha Dhupia was trolled left, right and centre for putting on weight. She had to face some really nasty comments on her body. Also, she was fat-shamed when she resumed work post the delivery of her second child. But, she gave it back like a boss.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi also got nasty comments on her body-weight. In 2019, in an Instagram post, she had responded to trolls and revealed that she was bullied when she was a child. “When you’re that young, you don’t understand why you are not able to lose weight. You don’t know why you are made this way. And then you start blaming yourself for a lot of things. And that can really affect you… What matters is how quickly you can ignore it and bounce back," she wrote.
