They say, every nice thing comes to an end. After entertaining us for over 3 years, television’s most popular comedy show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ came to an end. Hosted by popular comedian and now a Bollywood actor Kapil Sharma, the show was not only an entertainer but also turned filmmakers’ primary small-screen destination for film promotion. However, it ended due to the most unfortunate reason; as both Kapil and the channel got miffed with each other for reasons half-unknown and half-assumed. Things turned so bitter that the channel dropped the show’s last episode where actor Akshay Kumar came to promote his latest release ‘Airlift’. However, due to popular demand, it was later telecast yesterday (Jan 25, 2016).
