The Heroine!
Though not much is being heard about the female lead of the film, Waluscha De Sousa, she is said to be playing a pivotal role in the film. Waluscha is a very famous name in the modelling industry and now she is set to step into the world of Bollywood opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
The Dialogue writer!
‘Gaurav hai toh Aryan hai, Gaurav nahi toh Aryan kuch bhi nahi’, ‘Meri life, mera time, tumhe paanch second bhi kyun doon?’ These enthralling dialogues teamed with Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogue delivery are more than enough to send chills down your spine and all the credit goes to the dialogue writer Habib Faisal. He is an award winning dialogue writer who has worked on projects like ‘Do Dooni Chaar’, ‘Ishaqzaade’, ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ and many more.
The Editor!
The director’s vision has been visualised and put into one frame by the editor of ‘Fan’, Namrata Rao. The lady has worked on many films starting from ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’, ‘Band Bajaa Baaraat’, ‘Kahaani’ and went on to win several awards for the same. She has bagged the National film award for Best Editing for her efforts in ‘Kahaani’, and ‘Fan’ just seems to be yet another feather to her cap.
The Stunt Director!
Shah Rukh Khan’s film just got grander and better when the producers roped in the famous stunt director Seyong Oh to choreograph the stunts for the film. Seyong Oh hails from South Korea and is one of the favourite stunt directors there. Apart from South Korean films, he recently designed the stunts for the second instalment of Hollywood’s superhero film ‘Avengers 2'. No wonder the action sequences between Aryan Khanna and his fan Gaurav look so intriguing.
The make-up artist!
Recently, we came across news which stated that the Censor Board members could not believe that the character of Gaurav is none other than Shah Rukh himself. Yes, such is the power of prosthetics which has been done by famous Hollywood make-up artist Greg Cannom. It took almost six hours for Greg Cannom and his team to transform Shah Rukh Khan into his fan Gaurav, but the outcome was truly brilliant. Greg Cannom had also done prosthetics of Rishi Kapoor in his recently released ‘Kapoor & Sons.’
The director!
From the time the promotions of 'Fan’ kickstarted, SRK hasn’t stopped himself from praising the director of ‘Fan’, Maneesh Sharma. From conceptualising the film to getting King Khan on board, it’s Maneesh Sharma who can be considered as the mastermind behind this film. In one of the interviews SRK claimed that his character of Gaurav is 100 percent the director’s vision. He further added, “I wouldn't have been able to play the role. I just knew the superficiality of fan before Maneesh told me the depth and how well understood was Gaurav. If I achieve what Maneesh wanted then I will be very happy. I don't know what I was playing; I was just following Maneesh's instructions.” Maneesh started with his directorial career with ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ and won the best debut director award that year. Later he has directed films like ‘Dum Lage Ke Haisha’ and ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.’ Definitely, the director has come a long way with ‘Fan.’
Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Fan’ is making the right noise with the masses desperately waiting for the film to hit the theatres. The teasers, posters and the trailer of the film have left all Shah Rukh fans wanting to get out of their bed and rush to the nearest theatres to witness one of the finest performances of Khan till date. That’s for sure that a lot of hard work, dedication and sweat has gone into the making of this film which truly stands apart from the usual.
