This movie is Bollywood's one of the biggest blockbuster of all times. Shah rukh Khan wanted Kareena to star in this ambitious project of Rohit Shetty but Bebo was busy with other things. So she refused and might have also regretted it later. Kareena's loss was definitely Deepika Padukone's gain.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first choice for Ram Leela was Kareena Kapoor. Her reason for refusing to play Leela was that the character did not interest her.
