Navya Navelli Nanda had made her glamorous high society debut at Parisian Le Bal des Debutantes last year. She shared her excitement and said, "I have never done anything like this before so I'm very very nervous but very excited. I'm going to be taking dance lessons so that my dancing is upto the mark and also I will be going through fittings to make sure my dresses are fine and also practising walking in heels because that's no unusual thing for me. I'll also walk around on heels in my bedroom to make sure that I don't fall over."

Navya is currently studying at Sevenoaks School, London. This is the same school where Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is also studying. They both are very good friends and are enjoying their school days in London.

Navya has excellent skills in playing some tunes on a piano. It was recently revealed by none other than her grandfather megastar Amitabh Bachchan. “Look what took its place the entire day… The life to witness the gift of a granddaughter, of her accomplishments, of her talents… That is more than what many wish and possess,” [sic] Amitabh Bachchan posted on his blog. “And yes the inner joy of admiration for Navya as she surprises us all with her hidden talent… The music and the keys of the piano, untrained, unread. Just performing with the mind and what has remained with her somewhere, astonishing,” [sic] Amitabh Bachchan further wrote.

Navya has a younger brother Agastya Nanda who is 13-year-old and also studies at the Sevenoaks School London.

Navya Naveli Nanda is the great granddaughter of the acclaimed actor, Raj Kapoor. Navya’s father Nikhil Nanda is the son of Ritu Nanda, who is the daughter of Raj Kapoor. Although Navya Naveli Nanda belongs to two legendary families in Bollywood, she is more attached to the Bachchans.
