Love is forever…

They will be completing four years of married life this October and we couldn't be happier for them. The hottest couple of Bollywood has shown us that love knows no barriers and grows strong with each passing day. It only needs to be nurtured. While Kareena loves to cook for her hubby, Saif too loves playing guitar for his ladylove. We wish Saif and Kareena, a long and happy married life.

A grand reception

After a lavish nikah in Mumbai, Sharmila Tagore arranged a royal reception for his son and the new bride Kareena in an ancestral bungalow in Delhi. All the who's who of the political background were present at the do.

The royal wedding

After five years of dating and living in together, the couple decided to tie the knot. The couple initially had a registered marriage at Saif's Bandra residence, with three witnesses - Kareena's father Randhir Kapoor, her mother Babita and Saif's mother Sharmila. Kareena wore a green salwar-kurta with a heavily embellished red dupatta wrapped around her. She teamed it up with minimal jewelry and makeup. Saif too was simply dressed in a grey kurta. This was followed by a nikah ceremony at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.

Family bonding

Kareena even developed and nurtured strong ties with Saif's family members, including Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore and his two kids from his ex-wife wife, Amrita. She has managed to create a strong bond with all of his family members, just like a great partner should. And the best part about their relationship is that Saif too shares a great bond with the Kapoor khandaan, especially Kareena's sister Karisma Kapoor.

The live-in arrangement

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have been very vocal and open about their relationship to the world. Taking one step at a time, after dating for a while, they decided to get into a live-in relationship. So Saif went to the Kapoor house and spoke to Kareena's mother Babita. "She’s my woman. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. We want to live together," he said. Kareena's mother gave them a green signal and the couple started living together in Bandra.

Inked forever!

Saif Ali Khan has his own ways to woo his ladylove, so he decided to get Kareena's name inked on his forearm. This was an official announcement by Saif for the rest of the world that Kareena is now his woman. Kareena was quite overwhelmed by this gesture.

When love blossomed…

Kareena Kapoor was smitten by Nawab Saif Ali Khan during the filming of their film 'Tashan'. Even though the duo had worked together in JP Dutta's 'LOC Kargil' in 2003 and in Vishal Bhardwaj's 2006 film 'Omkara', it was only during the filming of Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Tashan' in 2007 that love blossomed between the two. While they were shooting for the film in Ladakh, Saif was suntanning on a lounge chair near a swimming pool, clad in jeans. Kareena found him extremely hot and they started talking, and slowly sparks flew and they realised they were in love.
