Apna Sapna Money Money
Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher and Shreya Talpade have no doubt mastered the skill of comedy and just imagine when all these three came together for one single film that is 'Apna Sapna Money Money.'Riteish played multiple characters including that of a lady who makes Anupam Kher fall in love with her. What a film! There was not a single moment when you would get a chance of getting bored and not to forget that all this comedy was without any skin show.
Mumbai Matinee
'Mumbai Matinee' is a film about a 32-year-old virgin who is often teased for the same. This character is played by Rahul Bose. Later, as the story progresses this virgin man meets a film director who shoots him while he is involved in physical activities like gyming and other such activities. The filmmaker then edits this footage in such a way that it seems that Debu (Rahul Bose) is having sex. Well, this film becomes a superhit and then Debu is considered to be the legend of adult films. Well, with this storyline we can easily gauge what kind of a film it would be. With comedians like Asrani, Saurabh Shukla and Vijay Raaz playing the pivotal role in the film, 'Mumbai Matinee' made up for a classic adult film.
No Entry
The movie 'No Entry' which had an ensemble cast was good enough to tickle your funny bones with it's double meaning jokes. The film led by Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in the leading role with three beautiful ladies was a film which manages to make audiences laugh since the beginning of the film. The comic timing of the cast is just bang on. So, whenever you are in a mood to just laugh and do nothing else watch 'No Entry.'
Masti
'Masti' starring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani was a laughter riot. The dialogues, the screenplay, the characters- everything of this film was just up to the mark. 'Masti' proved that we don't need any glamorous girl roaming around in skimpy clothes to make an adult-comedy. It's just pure content. Vivek, Riteish and Aftab are the three distressed men who are tired with their boring daily lives and then set on a mission to make their lives exciting. As the Hindi saying goes they were bored of 'Ghar Ki Dal' and now they were on a hunt of 'Bahar ka Chicken.' The one-liners were fantastic and the movie was a superhit.
Style
Remember that famous song 'Style Mein Rehne Ka' from the film 'Style?' Wasn't that film a hilarious one? Two men disguised as females start living in a girls hostel and the kind of difficulties and how they deal with it. It is just amusing to see how they tackle with such situations and of course in the most hilarious way possible. The two men played by Sharman Joshi and Sahil Khan are at their best and we bet anyone who watches this film will go rolling on the floor laughing.
Shaukeen
In 1982, Basu Chatterjee presented a sex comedy comprising of three old men trying to hit it off with a young lady. Three men played by Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt and A K Hangal. It was one such cult film which left everyone in splits with its story. The lady love was played by Rati Agnihotri and her love interest was played by Mithun Chakraborty. This film is surely a masterpiece which made it to the top of all the sex comedies of all time and mind you, sans any skin-show. A remake of this cult film was recently made by with the title 'The Shaukeens.' Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra made up for three men who try to impress a sizzling lady played by Lisa Haydon. But this film was nothing as compared to the original. Hats off to Basu Chatterjee for 'Shaukeens.'
The first month of the year 2016 is all set to witness the adult comedies ‘Mastizaade‘ and ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum 3‘ amongst the galore of films hitting the theatres. Well, if we just look at the movies made in the genre of adult comedy, the filmmakers have gone beyond certain limits which kind off divulges from the actual essence of the film that is ‘Comedy.’ More of skin-show teamed with over the top, double-meaning actions is what sums up these days ‘Adult-Comedy’ or in better words we now call them ‘Sex-Comedies.’ But, there have been films which have purely worked on the content and not relied on the glamorous quotient.
