The Swachh Bharat initiative, a nationwide cleanliness drive introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gaining nationwide popularity. Inspired by The Mission, Dettol and NDTV, last year, started observing October 2nd as the Rashtriya Swachhata Divas. This year, yesterday, i.e. October 2, Bollywood’s prominent figures Amitabh Bachchan with wife Jaya Bachchan, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Alia Bhatt were present at a suburban hotel to observe the day. With school children performing to the agenda, the message came out even stronger. Check out the photos!
