Farhan is the director of the famous 'Don' series, which started off as a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer, but ventured on its own unique path. Shah Rukh has been essaying the titular role in the same.

‘MARD’, which stands for Men Against Rape and Discrimination, is an initiative by Farhan Akhtar which should be appreciated for its efforts in bringing to foray violence against women, and taking steps to curb the same. Farhan has been an activist and is known to fight for the right cause. Recently, a concert was held by MARD, known as #Lalkaar, and guess who joined Farhan in his quest to end the injustice, Shah Rukh Khan.
